Overview
The Business Development team is responsible for providing business development support to all Explorer Franchisees; this will include support around attracting new business, maintaining existing business, key performance indicators, online and offline marketing and social media. This is an expanding division, we are involved in the recruitment and on boarding process of potential Explorers looking to start a franchise with us. The role is a fast paced, challenging and rewarding role to those who work within it.
Role Summary
The role is to primarily support franchisees with any pre or post booking questions. The role is critical in ensuring the post booking admin support function runs smoothly and minimises risk to both the franchisee and the business. To ensure franchisees continue to develop, sharing of top tips and best practice is encouraged. You will also be seen as a role model and expert for all franchisees on isell and booking processes. You will support the Franchise BDM and communicate regularly to ensure that all admin tasks are completed on time and to minimise risk to the business and the franchisee.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Franchise admin team in the day to day running of central admin
- Receive, check and attach supplier invoices to isell, updating commission levels where the franchisee has not done this and that all costings and booking info match what is loaded on isell
- Advise franchisees of any discrepancies to the above and offer support with remedial action
- Ensure that ATOL and Booking Summary has been created and are attached to portfolio
- Forward travel documentation to customer on behalf of franchisee when applicable
- Notify agent of any changes on the booking
- Assist with booking amends and cancelled bookings, to ensure franchisee gets it right on isell
- Send overdue balance reminders and update franchisee
- Check and process refunds on Apps, making sure all documentation required is attached and costings and booking status match the invoice
- Take ad hoc calls from franchisees about bookings/processes
- Update Franchise BDM/ Franchise Ops Manager on any bookings that could cause issues. Eg non-payment, customer complaint, cost dispute etc
- Provide feedback on ideas that will make processes run smoother
- Engage with departments at Head Office when support needed or things need checked. Eg Commercial, Supplier Payments etc
- Aim for 100% accuracy at all times and ensure notes are updated on isell whenever an action is taken on a portfolio on isell
- Keep up to date with all compulsory trainings on Learn Upon
- Attend regular BD Team meetings either in person or remotely (Zoom/Teams etc)
Other relevant duties as and when required
