Role Overview

 

The Ecommerce Manager will lead digital plans and execution across multiple business areas, including our core FX (Foreign Exchange) division, managing the Hays Travel App and supporting additional brands within the group. This role requires a dynamic, commercially minded digital expert who can adapt strategies to different products, customer segments, and brand propositions while maintaining consistency in performance, quality, and governance.

You will work closely with stakeholders across each business area to deliver campaigns, optimise digital journeys, grow brand visibility, and drive measurable results across all channels.

 

Key Responsibilities

FX

  • Lead paid, organic, and content performance for the FX division, ensuring strong acquisition and customer engagement.
  • Optimise digital journeys that support FX customer motivations, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor FX‑specific performance metrics such as conversion rates, CPA, and market‑driven campaign impact.

Campaign Management Across Brands

  • Plan and execute cross‑channel campaigns (for multiple business units.

  • Ensure each campaign meets the brand’s messaging, compliance requirements, and commercial objectives.

  • Support web performance across several brand sites or sub‑sites.

  • Use analytics, heatmaps, and testing to optimise user experience and conversion journeys for each brand.

  • Ensure digital experiences remain compliant, accessible, and aligned with customer needs.

  • Oversee SEO best practices across all brand sites, ensuring visibility, authority, and organic growth.

  • Produce performance dashboards for each business area and brand.

  • Track KPIs across channels including acquisition, engagement, retention, ROI, and revenue contribution.

  • Present insights and recommendations tailored to each brand’s priorities

App

*       Plan and prioritise app features based on user needs and business goals.

*       Work with developers and designers to deliver updates and improvements.

*       Monitor app performance (analytics, bugs, crashes) and drive optimisation.

*       Manage releases and app store processes, including testing and approvals.

*       Handle stakeholder communication across digital, technical, and business teams.

*       Review user feedback and coordinate fixes or enhancements.

 

Budget & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage digital budgets across FX and other business units.
  • Work closely with brand leads, commercial teams, and senior stakeholders to align digital activities with broader business goals.
  • Manage agencies or partners supporting different areas of the group.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience managing digital marketing activity across multiple brands or business units.
  • Proven experience running multi‑channel digital campaigns (PPC, paid social, SEO, content)
  • Data‑driven mindset with strong analytics and reporting skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs and varying priorities.
  • Strong project management and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of CRO, UX practices, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years digital experience.
