Job description
Role Summary
Improve sales conversion levels and drive the commercial returns of all ancillary products including travel insurance throughout the group. Managing the end-to-end supply chain, systems to maximise the revenue return. Develop and implement company strategic plan in order to achieve group objectives.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Accountable for the sales performance for all ancillaries including travel insurance, working closely with Heads of sales division to deliver conversion and sales targets
Manage the end-to-end proposition including training, sales, marketing and compliance
Manage day to day relationships with ancillary partners, in order to optimise customer, commercial and operational performance
Agree KPI’s and SLA with ancillary partners, working collaboratively across the group to ensure these are met
Work to influence stakeholders across the group and beyond in order to build buy in for the proposition
Process management to improve efficiency and customer journey
Work with the sales and marketing teams and provide products to market to drive sales, ensure funding opportunities from suppliers are maximised and ensure the correct focus and product is applied
Raise sponsorship funds from suppliers for group events
Continual review of all internal processes and procedures, ensuring agreed departmental processes and procedure documents are maintained
Attendance at overseas and UK conferences
Prepare and present reports to the board
Regular trading meetings with Heads of service
Willingness to participate in and deliver training appropriate to own development
Participate in ad-hoc duties or prepare ad-hoc information where required
Responsible for the commercial relationship with the ancillary provider to support driving growth and improving efficiencies

What experience we are looking for?
Previous experience in the travel industry
Strong relationship management skills
Experience of driving sales & marketing initiatives
Proven ability to effectively manage relationships by facilitating and influencing decision making at senior executive levels
Proven track record of delivering sales
Technical Skills required
IT software packages including Microsoft Office and Outlook as well as in-house systems & reporting tools
Ability to understand, interpret and analyse data
Exceptional communication skills with all stakeholders
