Due to expansion within our Tour Operation, Vista, I am delighted to announce that we are recruiting a Trade Engagement Partner for the South. The main purpose of the role is to increase Vista engagement with our current agent partners within our Retail division, Homeworking divisions, Call Centres and IG members, having more presence and exposure to each of these divisions. In addition to this will support with building our brand awareness within the overall Travel Industry and growing our 3rd party agents. This role will be predominantly remote based with on the road activity, looking after our Central and South based agent partners and occasionally expected to work from our Head Office. This successful candidate will have a full, clean UK drivers license.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Analysing MI to identify opportunities of growth within key areas (strong focus on increasing Cruise/Long Haul and Touring sales)
- Identify key agent partners to work alongside, creating bespoke marketing to support growth in sales
- Using MI to identify specific branches / members who require further support and engagement to drive sales
- Establish good working relationships with Key internal departments and key stakeholders incl RSMs / BDMs
- Portal management – ensure that all Vista stock is loaded and available to sell, technology issues flagged to correct departments, keep the website relevant and current with new and engaging Vista content, offering training to our Retail, HW, Franchise and IG colleagues to support usage of portal
- Vista internal Hub Page – as above ensure that this is relevant and interesting and engaging for end users. Create and upload bi- weekly Vista Newsletter
- Engage with agent partners to increase Vista product knowledge and awareness through training sessions (virtual and face to face)
- Assist with planning, organising and attending Vista trade events such a training workshops, fam trips, top seller events and incentives. Producing detailed proposals for events including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing and budgets)
- Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the events
- Manage all pre-event planning, including communication to suppliers and sales packs to sales staff prior to the event.
- Coordinate suppliers events and trouble shoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget.
- Analyse sales performance and key learnings of each event by evaluating the profitability, customer feedback and supplier feedback.
- Attend trade events when required to support Vista Head Of Sales including occasional overseas conferences.
- Confidently deliver Vista training and briefing sessions for new product launches and other key focus areas as required.
- Update and communicate Vista Campaigns and Incentives
