Job description
We are seeking a driven & creative Social Media Video Content Executive, who is passionate about crafting video content that not only grabs attention but also drives meaningful engagement.
In this role, you will lead the creation of high-quality video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and other social channels, ensuring alignment with our brand's vision and strategic goals.
You will own the entire content lifecycle - from ideation, content calendar planning, and production to editing, publishing, and performance analysis. Additionally, you’ll oversee paid video ads, using your expertise to increase growth across all platforms. You’ll have a keen eye for emerging social trends and love bringing fresh, creative ideas to the team to help shape and evolve our social media strategy.
This dynamic role will see you collaborating closely with the wider business to create impactful video content that engages audiences across over 1,000 brand social media channels.
Competences / Qualifications
Minimum 2-year Social Media content creation experience
Strong creative vision and a drive to produce engaging content
Proven experience with high quality video production standards
Expertise in shooting and editing short to mid form video content
Impeccable attention to detail, and a strong eye for visual aesthetics
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
A strong understanding of social media algorithms and trends
Familiar with tools like Meta Business Suite and TikTok Analytics to measure video performance and optimise content
Willingness to learn and adapt to new video production tools, editing software, and platform updates
Passionate about keeping up with the latest social media trends and industry updates
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Specific Duties
Plan, shoot, and edit video content tailored to various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and identity
Explore and implement new videography and editing techniques to keep content fresh and engaging
Stay up to date on the latest social media trends and proactively suggest creative ways to craft platform-specific video content
Optimise video content for different platforms and audiences to maximise reach, engagement, and impact
Serve as a video editing resource for the broader team, including creating internal videos as required
Collaborate closely with various business stakeholders to plan and execute social media content that aligns with business goals and campaigns
Lead meetings with various business divisions to gather input, propose effective content plans, and deliver on agreed objectives
Manage and execute paid social media advertising campaigns accurately and effectively
Monitor and analyse content performance, providing actionable recommendations to enhance results
Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure the brand remains competitive and top-of-mind
Act as the ambassador for video content within the business, building a centralised asset bank for localised use
Provide support and guidance to internal customers on social media queries face to face, over the phone and via email
Contribute to a consistent and cohesive digital strategy across all platforms
Willingness to travel as needed to capture content on-site, such as at retail branches, airports, and ports

Full UK driving licence required
Expectation to travel nationwide when required
