Job description

We are looking for an individual with a particular interest in Social Media marketing and a strong auditing/Governance skillset to ensure the Hays Travel brand is managed effectively and accurately across various digital profiles including social media.

As a Social Media Auditing Executive, you will lead the governance standards for numerous online platforms to ensure the relevant touchpoints are to a high standard, professionally executed and accurate to create a positive brand perception which is recognisable, whilst reducing risk against our brand.

You will work with the wider Social Media Operations team to identify areas for training and knowledge building, as well as developing procedures and resources to achieve consistency of the brand online to drive community engagement. 

What will be your key responsibilities? 

  • Develop the social media and community governance framework, undergoing regular audits to identify areas of risk and recognise potential opportunity 
  • Lead the development of the social media standards for all business divisions
  • Audit the quality of content for all social media activity and wider community touchpoints 
  • Propose procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency across a high volume of profiles
  • Keep up to date with all social media regulations & compliance and assure they are implemented into the wider business effectively
  • Audit all digital communications to ensure a consistent tone of voice and service level agreements are achieved
  • Work with the content & engagement team to develop social media style guidelines to ensure content creation is done so in a consistent way that supports the brand image
  • Manage the monitoring of all paid social media advertising ensuring accuracy across budgets, targeting, compliance and general set up
  • Oversee Google My Business for the retail estate, including supporting with training, resource creation, profile updates & amendments, best practice and measurement
  • Manage access control for all social media accounts and online business profiles
  • Identify opportunities and propose new ideas & concepts to enhance the Hays Travel brand online
  • Deliver training & support to sales agents surrounding all areas of social media when required
  • Support the wider social media teams when required to achieve a consistent social media strategy
  • Service incoming queries from sales agents and colleagues via telephone, live chat and email
  • Undergo administration duties to support the operational running of the department including social media paid advertising set up

 What experience we are looking for?

  • Digital Marketing/Social Media experience required

  • A good working knowledge of all Social Media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
