Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Minibus Driver to join Hays Travel on a part-time basis. Based in Sunderland, you will be responsible for safely transporting Hays Travel colleagues across a range of locations across the UK, making flexibility a key requirement for this role.
This is a key role where professionalism, punctuality, and a customer-focused approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport colleagues in line with scheduled journeys across the UK
- Ensure all passengers have a comfortable and safe travel experience
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before and after each journey
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the minibus
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Act as a professional representative of Hays Travel while on duty
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding passengers and company matters
- Flexibly support additional journeys or cover as required (overtime opportunities available)
Skills & Experience Required
- Full, clean UK driving licence with Category D1 entitlement (essential)
- Previous driving experience, ideally in a similar role (desirable)
- Strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Professional, courteous, and approachable manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Additional Requirements
- Must be smartly dressed and well-presented at all times while on duty
- Willingness to work fixed days (Monday and Thursday) with flexibility for additional hours
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Successful completion of a DBS check
