We work with all leading suppliers and can package holidays that include hotels, flights, cruises, tours, attraction tickets, and more. We have over 470 Branches throughout the UK and our Head Office based in Sunderland, is home to tour operator teams, finance, marketing, people/HR and IT, plus many more. We have been operating for over 40 years, and continue to grow each year. 

 

What are we looking for?

The Long-haul Commercial Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our long-haul sales and will be responsible for achieving set long-haul targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the long-haul market, customer needs, and product offerings. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and strong experience around Commercial and product roles.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the long-haul sector.

Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance long haul products, ensuring they meet customer needs and market demands.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market share for long haul services.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with supplier, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Strategy: Design and implement sales strategies to achieve company strategies,

Performance Monitoring: Track performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize commercial opportunities.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, adapting Hays Values

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial management, preferably in the long-haul sector.
  • Strong understanding of product development and market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
