Job description

Our Team Leader will be looking after the reservations team & accounts team for Business Travel. Main responsibilities would be managing staff, building report with clients, helping with team development and training, an understanding of GDS systems & Hays online booking system in order to assist clients & staff. Overseeing accounts team, invoicing, reconciliation of client payments & willing to learn new systems. To support out of hours queries & take responsibility for any client complaints.

 

What will be your key responsibilities? 

  • Ensure that we are providing an efficient booking service for all our clients, within department KPI.
  • Understanding of the client travel policies and adherence.
  • Out of hours support where required, and crisis management implementation.
  • Knowledge of fare rules and nett fares, in order to provide the best value travel options.
  • Performing daily invoicing duties, administration and MI duties and administration tasks as required by the department. 
  • Lead a small team to meet the department deadlines.
  • Dealing with client and internal invoicing queries over the phone and by e mail
  • Understanding and maintaining client relationships and complaint resolution.
  • Facilitating overseas and UK bookings, including European, UK and Long-haul flights, hotel, rail , visa application and all other ancillaries.
  • Ensuring our quality control measures and customer service levels are adhered to.

What competencies we are looking for? 

  • Delivering exceptional Customer Service to all clients and colleagues via all mediums (calls, email, client queries, invoicing, statement reconciliation and other administrative duties etc), ability to carrying out tasks to meet specific deadlines. 
  • Delivery of team buzz sessions, performance reviews and training.
  • To be a role model for staff by having a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Assist with lead monitoring and providing constructive feedback
  • You will need to be able to communicate and present information effectively and accurately.     

What experience we are looking for? 

  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Worked within a corporate Travel environment
  • Previous Accounts or Admin experience
