We are expanding our marketing division and are seeking passionate executives to join our dynamic team. As we transition into a new divisional structure, we are excited to offer this opportunity to individuals who are eager to shape and implement innovative marketing campaigns across our regional retail network. As a Marketing Executive at Hays Travel, you will play a pivotal role in leading marketing initiatives within your designated division. You will have the autonomy to oversee and execute marketing plans tailored to your area while collaborating closely with branch, divisional, and regional managers to ensure alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will not only envision the possibilities across the marketing spectrum but also offer innovative solutions to meet objectives, address requirements, and overcome challenges. We're looking for someone with a knack for bringing fresh perspectives to the table and a genuine passion for both the Hays Travel brand and its diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and developing branches within your local region, collaborating closely with retail and sales managers. Executing and developing strategic marketing plans that align with business objectives and target audience needs, while also being adaptable to changing market conditions.

  • Working collaboratively with other Hays Travel departments to facilitate additional activities, promotions, and events.

  • Manage and implement local marketing campaigns, interpreting data, analyse market trends, and draw actionable insights to make informed decisions and optimising the businesses marketing strategies.

  • Brief and oversee creative work to ensure campaigns are executed to the highest standards.

  • Facilitate the production of brochures and direct mailers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Assist in developing recruitment strategies and opportunities within your local region.

  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and implement strategies across our network.

  • Liaise with local airports and ports to develop strategic marketing strategies for your area.

  

Competencies Required:

 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in marketing communications

  • The ability to think outside the box, generate innovative ideas, and create compelling content that captures attention and resonates with the target audience.

  • Strong organisational skills executing marketing campaigns within budget and timeline constraints.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Decisive and accurate with ability to take a lead role in tasks

  • Strong desire for personal development

  • Representing the company with a professional, helpful, knowledgeable, proactive attitude
