Role Summary

An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join Hays Travel’s highly focused marketing team to shape and implement campaigns across our regional retail network.

 

The Role:

Develop and execute advertising and promotional campaigns to generate leads and increase sales. Create awareness of the branch by targeting audiences and develop the brand in the local area

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating, supporting and developing branches within your local region
  • Collaborative working with the marketing department specialised functions to gather expert inputs to the local marketing plans
  • Managing and implementing local marketing campaigns, measuring and reporting on results
  • Working closely with the retail team, regional sales managers and branch managers to support the assigned branches with any marketing activity
  • Briefing and overseeing the work to creative to deliver the campaign to the execution stage
  • Ensuring accuracy of marketing materials and providing sign off as required
  • Understand key audiences and identify opportunities for marketing online and offline to drive more sales
  • Competitor monitoring to understand opportunities available
  • Working closely with other internal departments on various Hays Travel shows, events and branch openings.
  • Assisting with recruitment opportunities and campaigns which fall within your local region.

Competencies Required

 

*        At least 2 years’ experience in marketing communications

*        Decisive and accurate with ability to take a lead role in tasks

*        To be positive in what we think, say and do

*        Strong organisational and time management skills

*        Attention to detail and quality

*        Proactive with the ability to take initiative

*        Strong desire for personal development

*        Representing the company with a professional, helpful, knowledgeable, proactive attitude
