Summary:
Hays Travel is seeking a highly organised and results-driven Digital Delivery Project Manager to join our dynamic Technology Team. In this role, you will lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects with a focus on enhancing the customer experience and driving business growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the web team to deliver and maintain high-quality websites and digital platforms for Hays Travel, ensuring they meet the company's strategic objectives and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Scope Management: Define clear project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Timeline and Budget Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Track progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate project resources effectively. Manage internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Communicate project status, progress, and issues regularly.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews.
- Change Management: Manage project changes effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets
- Post-Project Review: Conduct thorough post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
Web Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the web team to deliver high-quality websites and digital platforms.
- Define the web team's objectives, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback.
- Ensure the web team has the necessary resources, tools, and support to achieve their goals
- Collaborate with the web team to define website and platform requirements, develop roadmaps, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Monitor website and platform performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimisations to improve user experience and drive business results
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience as a project manager in the digital space, with a demonstrable track record of delivering successful projects.
- Digital Expertise: Understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and trends relevant to the travel industry (e.g., websites, mobile apps, e-commerce, UX/UI).
- Project Management Skills: Expert in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Devops, MS Tools).
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand technical requirements and communicate effectively with developers, designers, and other technical team members.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and motivate teams.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
- Umbraco experience: experience with large, complex websites or applications, especially those based on Umbraco CMS.
- Travel Industry Experience: Experience in the travel or tourism industry
