As a Cruise Travel Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting our customers in planning and booking their dream cruise holidays. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with customers through all sales channels, providing expert advice on cruise options, and facilitating bookings to ensure a seamless travel experience from the minute they contact you to secure their dream holiday until they return home ready to book another.

 

What does a day look like in our centre?

Manage incoming enquiries from repeat and new customers interested in cruise holidays providing them with awe-inspiring detailed information on various cruise packages and itineraries. You will offer them all-rounded service by enticing them with a perfect set of cruising excursions options that match up to their cruise choice. Offer flexible payment methods and make sure they are fully protected by offering every customer that all-important travel insurance.

You will convert enquiries into confirmed bookings by effectively communicating the benefits of booking with Hays Travel using your personality and the outstanding knowledge that you will gain from our bespoke cruise induction lasting 4 weeks initially and then on- going intensive training.

Using your own creative flair for sales and service you will build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and wants to offer personalised travel services that is perfect for them.

You will stay updated on cruise industry trends, new destinations, and promotional offers to provide your customers with the most current information. Keep abreast of the new waves in the cruise industry!

You will create and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and bookings, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Previous experience in the travel industry is not essential. We are looking for those who have a passion for going on their own holidays, are flexible, driven to work towards sales goals and are motivated by providing outstanding customer service every time. Desired skills would be a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, together with a passion for travel and customer service. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate the needs of our customers.
