Job description

You will manage all statutory compliance across our 490 retail branch estate, residential flats and commercial offices, ensuring all areas are kept up to date and records are processed and accessible to all, as well as leading the maintenance team dealing with reactive property issues and working closely with the health & safety team. 

 

The ideal candidate will be professional at all times, enthusiastic and have a motivated approach. Taking ownership of your own time and prioritise workload in a fast-paced department where no two days are ever the same. 

 

What will be your key responsibilities? 

  • Ensure statutory compliance is kept up to date and records to be accessible to all 
  • Manage property related contracts i.e. intruder alarms, air con, portable appliance testing etc 
  • Manage the maintenance team ensuring that they meet the required performance expectations 
  • Implement and maintain SLA’s 
  • Working closely with Health & Safety team 
  • Manage small works issues 
  • Reviewing and authorising invoices 

What competencies we are looking for? 

  • Proven track record in property management 
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills 
  • Team Management Experience 
  • Have a good understanding of commercial leases 
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all time 
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy 
  • Able to review reported issues and problem solve quickly and efficiently  
  • Computer literate, confident using Word & Excel 
  • Enthusiastic and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels 
  • NEEBOSH desirable
