Job description

Job will be afternoons but may be required on the morning, bank holidays and weekends (rota agreed in advance)

 

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • To keep areas such as Kitchens, toilets, training rooms etc clean / tidy and fully stocked
  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the buildings (GBH, Olive street and Vine place and also any additional head office buildings if required)
  • Sanitising workstations
  • Ensuring kitchen appliances are sanitised to high standards.
  • Polishing floors using machinery
  • Vacuuming floors and soft furniture
  • Disinfecting restrooms and shower rooms
  • Emptying bins
  • Spillage control, using relevant signs to keep staff safe.
  • Collecting rubbish
  • Dusting

Competences / Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Encouraging working attitude and desire to put forward ideas and implement positive changes to working practices as required.
  • Ability to act on own initiative and prioritise workload.
  • Flexibility to suit needs of the business.
  • Desirable but not essential Coshh certification

General

  • To undertake any other duties that may fall into the job criteria.
  • To conform with all Health and Safety regulations and policies
  • To always follow the company expectations regarding service standards
  • Data Security and You are responsible to ensure all personal & business data is kept secure at all times & any data breaches are reported immediately.
