Join the UK's largest independent travel agent and help bring our award-winning publications to life. As a Brochure & Campaign Specialist within the Hays Travel Marketing team, you’ll play a key role in creating some of our most exciting print and digital materials. From writing engaging copy to managing production timelines and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers, you’ll ensure our brochures not only inspire customers but also deliver commercial impact.

 

Each brochure requires a detailed production cycle, encompassing planning, supplier briefing, copywriting, design, proofing, and coordination with multiple stakeholders across the business. These timelines are further compounded by the complexity of print logistics, supplier fulfilment, and delivery schedules.

 Best of Touring Worldwide,  Best of Cruise,  Voyages Beyond Expectations (VYBE),  New to Cruise, River & Niche Expeditions, Fly From, Seasonal brochures and Exclusive ‘all product’ brochures 

Key duties and responsibilities.

  • Project manage the production of key brochures from concept to delivery
  • Research, write and edit compelling copy that reflects brand tone and campaign goals and is engaging to the audience.
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments: Commercial, Cruise Commercial, Creative, Email, Social Media, Web and the data team.
  • Coordinate the proofing and sign-off process with relevant suppliers and stakeholders
  • Manage supplier relationships and print/fulfilment timelines alongside the commercial department.
  • Ensure consistency across all campaign materials in line with brand guidelines and develop a sub brand for brochures so they are given their own identifiable identity.
  • Support and facilitate the rollout of broader campaigns across multiple channels
  • Monitor campaign performance and contribute to post-campaign evaluations
  • Manage timelines ensuring all key deadlines are met
  • Research and discover new opportunities to promote the brochures across multiple mediums including events and takeover opportunities.

 

Skills Required

  • 2+ years’ experience in a marketing, editorial or campaign planning role (preferably within travel or a fast-paced commercial sector)
  • Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
  • Working knowledge of print production processes and timelines desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
