An exciting new apprenticeship role based in our Independence Group Operations and Partnership Team has become available.

Join our Independence Group Operations and Partnership Team who work in partnership with Travel Businesses throughout the country, providing Customer Services and Support.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

The Independence Group Operations Team provides excellent Customer service to all our Independence Group members, on a day-to-day basis by gaining knowledge & understanding of their business models to build good working relationships and rapport. We deliver exceptional customer service to all members by following our SMILE values ensuring we go the extra mile by providing the member with the support required, using our knowledge, experience, and skills.

Within the team we deal with a variation of queries from the members and administrative duties.

We work very closely with our Internal teams to resolve any queries/issue our Independence Group members have brought to our attention supporting the member to achieve the best outcome, for everyone involved. Due to the variation of queries, there is always something new to learn making this position an exciting opportunity and we encourage self-development within the team for progression and to achieve your career goals.

 

Competencies Required

  • Capable of demonstrating a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines of self and others
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to providing a safe environment for people to work in
  • Promote and maintain the profile of health & safety
  • Proactive and self motivated with a hands on approach
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organisation

 

Technical Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge of computer systems i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to utilise its key functionalities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

  • Great Communication & Rapport skills

 

Qualifications/Experience required

  • English & Maths grade 4 or above

 

General

  • To be committed and dedicated to completing the customer service Apprenticeship programme within the 12 month timescale, attending all relevant training workshops
  • To undertake any other duties that may fall into the job criteria
  • To conform with all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety
  • To treat all employees, customer and suppliers with dignity and respect
